    Egg white face mask

This is a basic face mask, suitable for all skin types, to soothe and moisturize your skin.

–Crack two eggs, separate the yolk from the egg whites, and place the egg whites in a bowl.

–Add 2 tbs of yogurt (plain).

–Mix and apply to face for a few minutes.

–Rinse with warm water, followed by a warm washcloth.

  1. Banana mask

If you have oily skin, this is your face mask.

-Mix 1 banana and 1 tbs of honey together.

-Add a few drops of juice from an orange or lemon.

-Apply to face for 15 minutes, then rinse with a cool washcloth.

  1. Avocado face mask

This mask is particularly effective for mature, wrinkled, and dry skin.

–Mash ½ of an avocado in a bowl.

–Stir in ¼ of a cup of honey, and apply to face.

–After 10 minutes, rinse face with a cool washcloth.

  1. Sea salt body scrub

Use this scrub on your body, for areas that need the most exfoliation. Do not use on your face, as facial skin is more sensitive and requires gentlerexfoliants. Try it on elbows, knees, ankles, and arms.

Beauty tip: try creating your body scrub and storing it in a pretty glass jar for future use.

Mix together the following ingredients:

–2 tbs sea salt

–3 tsps grated ginger

–1 finely grated lime peel

–6 slices of cucumber, chopped

–1/2 fl.oz. almond oil

For best results, use the scrub while showering. Exfoliate dry skin thoroughly, then use the warm water to slough off dead skin. Follow your shower with a soothing, hydrating moisturizer.

Dark circles? Try cucumber slices!

Applying cucumber slices to your eyes will not only help lighten the skin and diminish dark circles, but it will also help sooth and cool your eyes.

–Thinly slice up a small section of a cucumber –enough to have several slices for each eye.

–Lie on your back and place the slices on your eyes, being careful not to get juice in your eyes. Make sure the slices have contact with the skin under your eyes.

–Set an alarm for 5-10 minutes, then remove.
